MGK is speaking his happiness into existence.

The Lost Americana musician, who has been open in the past about struggling with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation, recently spoke with People about how he navigates his mental health journey, and it includes being vocal and honest about where he wants to be in his headspace.

"I have to live in a place of positive affirmations right now," he said. "So speaking into existence what I would like: 'I'm so f---ing happy.' Tattoo it on my tongue."

As for how he handles hard times and faces challenges in his life, the rapper/rocker noted it is par for the course, saying, "I'm a rolling stone, man. You're bound to continue hitting rocks and obstacles. It's just the path I chose, I guess."

MGK, real name Colson Baker, faced personal challenges last year amid his rocky on again, off again romance with Megan Fox. Weeks after they reportedly split, the Jennifer's Body actress announced she was pregnant with their first child together. MGK revealed in March that she had given birth to their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, and the pair have been focused on co-parenting their little one ever since.
